Welcome to my humble blog, Adventures in Life, Love, and Librarianship. I'm Elizabeth, a single girl who lives in her brand new house with her adorable cat, Caty, and works as a hospital librarian.
I created this blog in February 2010 as a way for me to share my experiences and frustrations with being unemployed in a terrible economy. Now I share the ups and downs of my professional life, and I also post recipes and, occasionally, tips for living a more budget-conscious lifestyle. I participate in Menu Plan Mondays and Food Waste Fridays because they help me stay on track and be more organized.

Until January 2011, I lived with my parents where I was the primary cook in the house and expanded my culinary repertoire. I have just moved into my very first home and am learning how to shop and cook for one. I love cooking and baking and am enjoying the challenge of cooking delicious, healthy, and budget friendly recipes for one.
